so i'm looking for ideas for a stock list...

    right now i'm planning on..

    pair of clowns
    foxface
    some sort of goby
a couple of those bright red shrimp(sorry, don't remember the name)
    some snails

but i'd also like to add maybe 3 schooling fish....
not really fond of the look of green chromis.....

i'd rather have something more brightly colored, any ideas?

I prefer cardinal fish. I have threadfins and they stay in a nice tight school all the time

I believe it's a 55.I agree that cardinals might be a good choice for schooling fish.Personally I would make another choice other than the foxface. They are nice colorful fish but grow quickly, eat alot, and would add alot to your bioload.

If it is a 55, then I agree 100% on the Foxface. They get 6"+, so in a 55, when you include rockwork, they would barely be able to turn around!

    yes, it's a 55.

i figure i got a little while with a foxface if i get one, at least a year right? my LFS always has small ones. like 2" or so. i figure if it get's to 6", i'll look into re homing it somewhere.

i think i've got enough going on with my system to carry the load, i've got a skimmer than can be used on up to 208gals, a 100gal canister filter, etc etc etc, everything i have is good for MORE than double my tank. and i'm usually the one who does more than the "necessary" work for a tank to thrive.

i hope i'm not sounding like the new guy who knows everything.... i don't wanna be that guy....
