Flame angel would be great. Butterflys are beautiful too. Clowns, grammas, gobies.

Damsels can be real ****s that is true and I think you may be right about chromis. Check out this link and look around, you may find what you need. Buy & Sell - Joliet Area Reef Club I know it is a Joliet reef club, but it's not that far from you and there are some really good people in it.

The reason I chose lyretails is because I have heard that they are the hardiest of the anthias, now considering the price, I really would not mind catching them in a fowlr if I needed to move them. (About the only thing I don't miss about a reef). I'm thinkin to get three anthias, a flasher wrasse or a banana wrasse and the goby prawn combo sounds cool too. That should be plenty, if not clowns, bangaiis, basslets, a butterfly or small angel are all options. Its funny how as soon as you get a bigger tank the next size up looks so much more bigger lol

i have 3 bartlett anthias. it took them a few months to be as they are now. but i love how they swim together so tightly at times and seem to play. flipping around each other. Anthias are a must have fish for me also. i know this isnt your first tank and you know your fish and CUC but for those who are new to tanks and fish that require often feedings, as anthias, i believe these snails are part of what keeps the over feeding in check, since anthias like to chase their food and dont eat from the sand. Saltwater Aquarium Invertebrates for Marine Reef Aquariums: Super Tongan Nassarius Snail plus its cool to watch them pop out of the sand at feeding time.

how about a pair of orchid dotty backs? small fish that are interesting to watch. im guessing you will have live rock?
