At least that's what the good lfs called it were I got this one.

Came on a standard size frag plug, etc.

It's been my slowest growing coral. I have 19 different total inculding sps, lps, and softs/zoo's.

It looks good, but the polyps are staying rather small, etc.
It's not growing much like everything else. I've got it on the bottom, about 26-28inches from my LED's.

Any thoughts on how to get it to grow faster? I only rely on light and the water column for my corals. I do spot feed the my 2 anenomes however.

 

You could try moving it to a different spot with more/less light/flow.

 

In my experience, Zoo's grow much slower under LED's than MH or T-5's.

 

I was using PC's until about 10 days ago, now I have the LED's.

I moved them to a little less light and flow, now I'll wait a few weeks and see what happens.

 

What supplements are you using? What salt and how often are you doing water changes?

 

Supplements? Nadda

Salt, Instant Ocean usaully, however lately I think the the big 200g box is from CoralLife.

WC's- about 10-20 days, usually 10-15g

My params are very good, and even my sps are flourishing,
