    Yup, a freshwater Crayfish was what we fed him.
    He ate that thing faster than you'd think

    He's been molting for about 2 weeks now, I'm starting to get worried, I have checked Amonia and it's still at 0, so it's ok there.
    Would 3 weeks be when I start to worry?

    i dont know much about them but i would be worried after a week. but i could be totally wrong as ido not know much about them.

    I wouldn't start worrying yet. If he isn't out by 3 weeks you can worry. My 2.5" wennerae takes over a week to molt.

    What Stepho said. My old Wennerae would take well over a week to molt. Our smithii only takes about 3-5 days though. This new mantis (we think is a wennerae) takes a freakin' long time, too.
