She was a fatty at one point, but it was usually when I had her on high doses of steroids. Now she looks fat, but it's just old saggy skin when ya grab it.

In true Chancey style, she pulled up her britches and got better. Now she's doing pretty darn good. She must have hurt herself hen she tripped over the darn sprinkler head. Whatever it is, I'm thankful to see the brightness in her eyes and the "skip" in her walk.

I know i'm not a dog person, but i've always had cats. However, we had a cat, that was very healthy and happy, untill she reached 2 years old. At this point, she got a disease, that all cats have, but it mutated. This mutation occurs to about 2% of all cats in the world, and it kills them, SLOWLY. It was horrible. She would just lay on the ground, unable to do anything. She would not eat, drink, and would have a really bad stomach. She slowly became really sick, and our vet had to take her life :( It was so sad, i still miss her today. She was a beautiful cat, very friendly, very healthy and very active. My oldest cat today is 10 years old, and thinking about him passing away some day... Gosh... That just makes my heart break. Anyway, happy to hear that your dog is doing well again, and wow, shes adorable! :)

Agreed. Pets like cats and dogs are just like... Family. Its incredible to think, of how much they actually mean to us. My cats are one of the most important parts of my life, since i take them as family :) The feeling you get, when one of your pets is passing away is just... Horrible. Its like losing one of your loved ones. Luckily, i've only experienced it twice.

I always ask myself, are they happy?
