pencil urchin light requirements

    is there any light requirements for a pencil urchin. i was going to let him roam in my external filter and refug..... i am really only concerned about the filter thus it recieves very little light.
    also i included a pic of my spined little friend. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The eat coralline algae so you had better make sure there is some int here. With little light there probably won't be any. :(

    they are so hardy, it mostly consumes algae from he walls and rocks of your tank.. also takes in some coraline algae as well.. very hardy and tolerant in my opinion

    10-4 on the coraline...... as this is a temporary holding idea, 1 mabey over night at the absolute longest. there pushy little bugars. and from time to time, mostly when a recent frag has been done or when construction is under way possibly as an overnight jail sentence for vandilism.........lol in all cases hunger would not be a factor.
