    If you take the filters and intake tube out along with the bio-wheel, then take out the impeller. make sure nothing is in the hole that the impeller sits in. then, just install the impeller and housing and try it by itself, See is it will turn on its own,

    That is very weird. I have a pair of 150Bs and an old 125, and they have all been fairly stout. The only time i've had a problem is when I sucked sand through one and ruined the impeller.
