Penguin 330 Bio-Wheel power filter

I just picked up a Penguin 330 Bio-Wheel power filter brand new for $14.00 Sells for $60.00 @ pet supplies plus! Do you think I should add this to my tank? I originally bought it to sell on Ebay but I figured why not add another 330 GPH water turn over to my tank. So what would you do ???? John

 

I had one oh...so many years ago, and I got a lot of salt creep around it...on the canopy and the wall.... from the splashing of the water.

 

Well I went and put it in and I do have to agree with you Birdlady it does splash the water around, I think I will be taking it back out?? John

I should have gone with my first thought and put it on ebay.

 

well i had one 2, it only splashed the water when the level was low, but then again i keep my water up very high because i dont have a sump lol...

 

Yeah I removed it from the tank it is just To dam messy
