    Well I got the stand frame painted and made a bracket to hold a filter canister that I plane to use as a carbon reacter. Here are some pic.

    It looks like the design to your stand is a bit off. You have all of the screws bearing the load and not the actual wood. You might want to address this before you fill the tank and have a catastrophe on your hands.

    Thanks for your responce clarkkey594. I know the pics dont show it but rest assure that I have the load supported. Thanks for the concern. Ok so I got the frame for the canopy built over the past couple days. I think its turning out pretty good. So here are some pics.

    Unfornately I have to wait for a while to do any more. School is around the corner and I have three kids to shop for.....:juggle2:

    Looks like this build is moving right along, i bet it gets done sooner than you thought at the beginning.

    yes it is moving right along but thing will slow down a little here cause I spent more money over the weekend than i should have on corals, do to the store closing:cry: that suck for me

    Today I got all the skin and trim nailed on. Puttied all the nail holes and waiting on it to dry. Next I need to make some doors, then paint. Here are some pics.

    While Irean was beating the east coast and dumping rain here in PA, I spent the weekend out in the garage working on my build. First I resealed my used tank. Turned out good and sits on the side porch with water in it. The white fog on the glass still shows up with water in the tank. That stinks for me.

    Petco here just started the dollar a gallon sale so I probably buy a new tank Friday. All that hard work for nothing.

    I also finished sanding and painting the stand. Still working on the canopy tho. I think the stand turned out better than I was exspecting. I need to add doors yet, but first I need to make them.
