Pennstatereefer's 55 Gal. Tank Build

Looking for suggestions

I plan to use 4 36" ho t5 bulbs in my canopy to light up my tank. What I need are some suggestions on bulb spectrums and placement front to back. I have mostly softies with a few lps and sps.

You can basically run any of the major brands, in any order you want according to your preference. Use the search, there's about a million T5 bulb threads floating around here. Nobody can give you a solid answer because it's all personal preference.

Update 09-o5-2011

I have gotten a little more done on my 55 build, so it's time to share. Petco has the dollar a gallon sale gonig on so I picked up a new tank. All the sanding and painting is finally done to the stand, although I still need to build some doors thats not important at this point. I picked up some awsome reflectors cheap from the LFS. They are used but I don't care.
So here are pics to look at.

 

cool beens, like the reflectors is the tank level looks in the picture like it leans away from the wall.

 

Yes the tank does lean foward i need to shim the stand. Its actually the floor that leans. The sun room used to be a porch long time ago.

 

Nice job on the stand. Great work on the build also.
