Pepper Spots on Orange Shoulder Tang

He is in the qt tank. I read its a worm and that you should run the tank fishless for months. So do both in freshwater. What about the qt tank? Should I drop the salinity to 1.009 like I researched before the worms reproduce? i also heard its common for this type of tang.

 

I've never done hypo for black ich. (I'm not saying it's not a good treatment....I would have to research it.....I've just never done it).

As far as the MB and Formalin is concerned, yes, that is done in buffered RO/DI water WITH AN AIRSTONE. Please read up on formalin dips.....you want to do this at a time when the wounds are closed. You might have to do this more than once.
