Just to follow up my previous thread so others might benefit. After comparing the shrimp in question to photos on the liveaquaria site I concluded that what I had in my tank (and eating my hammer and frogspawn) where in fact a couple of large peppermints.I was able to net one after luring it into the open with bait on a food clip.Nori is what he came after, raw shrimp only attracted hermits and nassarius snails. It took a little patience to sneak my net in behind him but when he noticed it and darted backwards (thanks Blackraven) he was easily netted. The remaining shrimp in the tank hasn't done any noticable damage so I'll try leaving it in and see how it goes.I myself will consider these shrimp reef safe with caution and would'nt add them again.

Yeah no more peppermint shrimps for this guy <----- They took out a tri color frogspawn and some micro blastos, both have since recovered, but alas the shrimp are gone.
