    Ok I found my Peppermint shrimp digging into the center of my Aussie Acan Lord Coral Frag!!

    Is it possible from him to be hurting it??

    Yes I am sure it is a peppermint shrimp.

    Any help would be great!:confused:

    Shrimp like to steal food from corals, had you just target fed the coral?

    Nope. I was going to after this happened, but I wanted to wait until I found out some more information.

    Could it hurt the coral while stealling its food?

    Well the peppermint was indeed attacking the coral... For food in it or it as food I don't know, but it really damaged one of my really nice Acan polyps..

    He has since been removed, and will find a home in my 92 gallon's sump.


    Yes it is a peppermint shrimp.
