I'm glad to see that i'm not the only one that finds this to be cool.

This morning I watched my little guys finally start destroying my aiptasia population (of course this is after i got tired of waiting and ordered a bottle of Joe's Juice...) And I was just mesmorized. They were really going to town. Then my emerald crab scuttled over to join the party and the shrimp were practically pushing each other around trying to clean him...it was pretty cool.

I just had the lid off my tank because I had to rescue my sea cucumber from the overflow. While I had the lid off I decided to move some coral polyps that had bailed out of the colony. When I was moving them one of my peppermint shrimps jumped on my hand and started pecking away. It didn't hurt at all, felt pretty good actually. The other peppermint shrimp was staring at my hand intently but was too timid to jump on, so I moved my hand closer and he climbed on too.

I thought it was awesome. I could not get the cleaner shrimp to get on my hand though.

Before Neti Pots, some of us employed unusual methods of getting saltwater into their sinuses. Well, probably only one of us. One day I chose a different tank than normal and a freakin' shrimp went into my nose. Now that's just disturbing!!!!!

Oh yeah I keep forgetting you have a peacock. My N. Wennerae can probably fit up my nose... especially if he bashes it open like he does rocks.

We need a Mantis Shrimp Owners Club or something. You gotta beware those shrimp running up your noses...

My scuba instructor had a cold once...we had the pleasure of seeing him sniff ocean water to "remedy" it. I think I'd personally rather have the cold than inhale ocean water through my nose.
