Agreed. Whenever I get a cold I can't kick in a day or two, I run down to the beach first chance I get. I know it will be gone after that.

My peppermint shrimp loves to crawl around on my hand and clean it. I was freaked the first time and thought he'd pinch, but after I started setting up my 75 and arranging rocks / adjusting stuff I gave up, and he literally has to be shooed away. Friendly little things, makes me feel bad eating shrimp now. lol.

That is a frigin riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to try it. That is too funny, I would think the little guy would be to scared....that never crossed my mind to let him on my hand. I am going to subscribe to this thread and post if it works. For some reason I feel like the new guy getting asked to go buy a left handed fire starter or 100 feet of shore line. Or in the Army we sent the newbies off to get Canopy Lights for the night jumps!!!!!!!

Now that I have a peppermint shrimp in the tank (plan on adding 2 more) I have to agree that they're great manicurists. Mine is still a little spooked by movement but he's gotten used to coming out when a hand is placed in the tank, LOL!!! This happened by accident the first time. i had a piece of brine under my nail and he cleaned me right up as I was fishing something out of the tank, LOL.

They are not the same, but they are still good cleaners. I like peppermints better myself, but both are cool.

Peppermint shrimp do not clean fish though. Cleaner shrimp will set up stations for fish to come and get cleaned off.
