I've heard of multiple people keeping them together. However, personally, I had a rouge pep shrimp that killed my cleaner and emerald crab. So I had to get rid of it. My peppermint just may have been a$$, and you may have better luck. Just make sure you have enough rock work for both to have their own little area's.

I have them together in both of my tanks and have had no problems

And just for reference one is a 30 gallon cube and the other is a 120.

Yeah, you should have no problem as long as you give them each their own area. I no it's not a pep and cleaner but I had a pep and coral banded for quite a while in my 29.

i would get them as close to same size if possible and would get the pep first. they are fairly reclusive and will usually pick a rock cave as his home while cleaner shrimp are more active and should rome the tank a bit more. my experience with them anyway. but as we all know experiences will vary.

We have 3 peps (they went in first) and 2 cleaners in a 55. They don't acknowledge each other, really.
