    That's definitely a photo to bank on. I've never heard of this before, but I suppose it counts on how well your filtration is, and that will allow you to feed more, and the crustations will get droppings of food left behind. Most folks restrict food rations to keep their levels low, and this could lead to shrimp finding alternate sources of food. Of course, this is all just a theory, and I know every tank owner has different habits, so I cant say this is true for everybody, but it would explain most circumstances where shrimp turn on corals.

    true but i dont aim for pristine conditions, its ok to have some nitrates and my softies and lps look better now that mine are a little higher
