    I put in some new pink star polyps and bam! My shrimp starting ripping polyps out and having dinner! Idk what to do! Please help.

    Are you sure he was eating the coral and not cleaning up the new addition?

    Mine always goes for new additions because of algae, dead tissue etc. that came in with the frag. Mine will walk on my established coral from time to time and steal food occasionally, but nothing more than that.

    Looked to me like he was ripping the damn flower out lol. I am not 100% tho. Looks like he is picking around the polyps now. Doesn't look like he is planning on leaving anytime soon.

    Lots of goodies in between those polyps. My guess is he's enjoying them.

    I had some peppermints devour my frogspawn and hammer within a few days but they didn't seem to care for the softies,could have had all the xenia they wanted.

    I love xenia sailorguy :) Maybe because its the only thing in my tank that is showing good growth.....

    I had peps take a liking to my frogspawn after eating all the aip. Keep them fed and that should curb their nipping.
