I have a pink spotted watchman in my tank and it seems that he and a peppermint shrimp have become roommates...i know watchmans pair up with pistols, but never heard of one pairing up with a peppermint shrimp...is that what is going on or is it just a coinsidence that they are in the same place a lot?

Hmmm might be a coinsidence. But if they are really spending a lot of time together they might have paired up. Awesome news! try to get a picture!

I have a watchmen and peppermint that have paired up too. Not sure if the peppermint is in on it but the watchmen definitely calls the peppermints lair home too.

I had the same pairing at one point, my goby ended up eating my peppermint believe it or not.

Makes for kind of an odd couple. The goby doesn't stand to gain anything by pairing up with a peppermint I would think. I don't think the peppermint would gain anything either

Egads! I have a pink spotted goby added to the tank with a cleaner shrimp.

I really hope the goby doesn't eat him. The cleaner shrimp does spend time in the same general area of the tank. I'll try to keep the goby very well fed?
