I had about 50 aptasia, added 2 small peppermint shrimp and within 3 weeks it was all gone and it hasn't come back.

I have heard people have better results when adding more than one peppermint. Maybe they feel like there is more competition and eat the aipatasia?

With 200 aips, peppermint shrimp are unlikely to be successful. Get a berghia nudibranch.

Peppermint shrimp are kinda hit or miss. Some do some don't eat aiptasia. Another thing with peppermint's is they attack their own often. With 200 your bound to have some success but your also likely to have some larger ones that the shrip won't go near.

Berghia nudibranch only eat aiptasia, but again with 200 aiptasia and the fact they eat slow you would need 20 berghia nudibranch to effectively cover your 70g tank. and then you would have to get rid of them once once your sure the aiptasia are gone. Or they would just die. I also worry about the effect of all these aiptasia being digested on your system. Even using boiled RO, Kalk, or lemon juice injections on that many aiptasia would be threatening to your system. You would be too limited to be able to accomplish the task.
Are any of the rocks with aiptasia completely clear of coral? It might be better to just sun bleach RO scrub and rinse and return.

I had about 50 -60 aptasia all various sizes in my 120 mixed reef , I tried EVERYTHING ! some of it killed some of my very nice corals !
About a month or so ago I bought an aptasia eating file fish , weird looking but kinda cool ! Never seen him touch any aptasia in my tank and he did pick at some of my corals , however I can't see a single aptasia any more ! So for me I'm convinced these guys work !!

Peppermint shrimp like to be in groups, and that is how they work best, especially for eradicating aiptasia.

That said, they are very hit or miss. I have 5 and they haven't touched my aiptasia. I'm still holding out hope!
