percs keep dying!!!

    hey guys long time no posts, im sorry!!! anyway i started a 20 gallon at my new house. its been since mothers day and i thought it was cycled... (WRONG)!!! anyway, i added a six line wrasse and a perc two weeks into it. the perc died and the sixline is great. i added another percula two days after and 2 days later hes being eated by the inverts. tank mates are coral banded, emerald crab, and 11 hermit. paramaters are all good but the clowns keep dying. Whats the deal? help me please...

    the fish could have been just to stressed from shipping to handle a newer tank, something similar happened to me i just waited longer and now every thing is good. just my thoughts :-/

    well...after the first one died u should have probably waited longer...percs r very easy to stress out...some people say that if u add or move rocks to ur tank, they can become very stressed out...change in envionrment...the first 2 i got came down with velvet desiese but my new ones r doing great, good luck :)

    Did you get the clowns from the same pet store? If you did, were both clowns taken out of the same tank when they were sold to you?

    Did you acclimate them? I've found that many lfs keep there salinity levels at around 1.018 and for my tank that I keep at 1.024 its a big jump in levels and that can definitely stress fish out.

    What salinity level does the lfs you purchased them from keep their tanks at? What is yours?

    i work at the store that i got them from... same parameters but mine are alittle better (less nitrates mine are 0)
