I have mentioned this little guy a few times but only now have taken a pic of him. It's my red lipped Blenny!

I have built and added a wall to my tank to keep in jumpers. I have taped the outside to keep them from getting through the egg crate. I found using screen wouldn't hold... the tape would eventually let go of the screen. It holds incredibly well to the egg crate though.

And made a DIY video for it:

I also have added new lights, from Tangster.

2 of the UVL super actinics
2 of the UVL actinic whites

This pic is with all 4 running. I will get one later with just the 420's.

My Dendro hasn't really been staying open. So I have moved it. It is now in slightly more flow and I moved it further down in the tank; but it is getting slightly more light... I will see how that does. You can also see my birdsnest... believe it or not, that's actually more color than it had last week. Though, I don't really expect it to make it at this point.

    My Candy Cane

One night it looked fine... was expanding at night and everything. The next morning, this. Beats me. I'm not sure if it's too little, too much flow/light or what... open to placement suggestions on this thing :-/

Nice Petrified blenny..lol. REad your whole tank thread lookin for your Bicolor pics.. hopefully mine won't jump out. Canycane corals are sensitive.. I have red ones.. I bleached mine. They are comin back.. they like low to med flow, and med light.. well mine does anyway. That birdsnest will explode in high light and flow. try putting him towards the top!

Posted this on another thread, but thought I should have it here too.

Little video of how tanx and i are all automated.

The sensors on the other side are directly in my DT. It's too dark now for pics, so I borrowed this one from the web. The left one is a laser. I wipe it monthly. If water is too low, this sensor engages the ATO. If for some reason it fails to detect the water is full, the float one is a backup.

I am leaving for France in a week or so. I made sure to get that setup before then.

I got back from France and my water was level, my Alk, Ca, and Mg were all spot on. I love automation.

Anyway, just placed an order with reefcleaners for a juvenile fighting conch and a few more dwarf ceriths and Fl ceriths. had to get something other than the conch. ;)

about to go get a couple peppermint shrimp. i've had bad luck w/shrimp but now that i have ATO water (steady SG) and no more murderous Royal Gramma, I want some fireshrimp. but going to test my luck w/the cheaper pepps first. if they last a few months, then i'll get the fire in my tank!
