it's "tentacles" are longer than my hammers (gah, I can't get my hammer to extend very much!)

I got me some Yellow Star Polyps today and inadvertently epoxied some polyps down :-/ they grow fast though, so I ain't worried ;D

ugh, how irritating. epoxy just does not hold to this texas holey rock.

polyps came off the rock. Will get back in there today and try some gel super glue.

I moved and super glued the polyps.

Can't really tell in the pic, but the epoxy made a sort of ledge base, so it is hooked on the end of that hole. there is actually a lot of space left for smaller fish to swim through... through the polyps that is ;) (very much looking forward to seeing a head popping out)

super glue get didn't hold either...

i think i'm going to move this little frag to my newly added rubble pile (for pods) and let it grow up over that... (bc i can just wedge it in there, no glue required)

don't see any reason that would negatively impact as a pod breeding/safe area.

several updates to my tank thread.

First, I fragged my hammer! First LPS frag job.

This is why I did that

And this is the new cleaned up sponge I had reported on earlier

The Yellow Star Polyps that I couldn't get secured... they're now leisurely laying in a pod breeding rubble pile. that should be nice.

And last, my dendro is doing awesome since I moved it here and started with the cyclo-pleeze every few days.

i was thinking u could put the yellow polyps on a dry frag disk with superglue first and then use putty and superglue to attach it to ur rocks

and for comparison, this coral when I first got it. It's quite a bit bigger now.

And this stupid hermit (it's a striped hermit) is kind of big and is always messing with stuff he shouldn't be messing with. Digging up feathers, knocking frags over. So I have put him in prison.
