eh...i wouldn't worry about it too much if you can change it during the move. From the people I halve talked to with it they say reversal is time consuming for the trace elements corrections to do their thing. It has more to do with water chemistry than burrowing, burrowing only slows the process.

i wouldn't get black sand...very hard to keep up. the only nice black sandbeds are brand new, or meticulously maintained by the owner. Burrowers aren't big fans of black sand either.

new pics soon. got in my new rock from reefcleaners (WOW) and have it in.

I *think* I have it how I want it. Lights off now, but pics tomorrow (I hope).

BTW - their rock is really nice and the pieces John selected for me were awesome.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing some pics of it. I think it's hilarious how hermits love to climb the glass like that as well, mine do that too.

    OK, new rock work pics!

Sorry about the head on... no flash for that one and no handy tripod or stack of books... I'll get a better one later.

So on the right island, at the top, there is a very out of place looking rock...

I am seriously considering removing it. However, the two sides would then be the same height... ugh... choices.

Also, I did not intend on connecting the sides via the bridge. Opinions on that welcome. I had to bc the piece the bubble is on is a wedge cut of rock and is extremely hard to place. This happened to work and I needed to wrap it up... we'll see if I can find some other choice. Opinions on that welcome too ;)

EDIT: other than the two rocks I called out above, it's epoxied. I need to get a side view shot to show how it's really stacked too.

Also, PC, notice the big black square in the upper left. My reef octopus output pipe fits into the middle of that sponge.

    Works wonders on the bubbles.

bleach is a mighty ally ;)

nah, no additional problems, just decided I wanted something very different. I ended up boxing the old rock for when I get a bigger tank...
