My red blasto, that I got with only 1 head, now has 9. Yay! My purple, that I got with 4 heads, now has 20+ heads before I lose count.

Blasto does great in my tank. Maybe I'll go get some more today.

I guess I should take some pics. I'll do that.

Love the coral beauty that I got about 2 weeks ago... first my yellow tang was very territorial and chasing him. By now they are friends and they are doing great.
Post some pics once you have him :)

updates (no pics, camera still won't stay on for more than a few seconds)

I had replaced my flame tail with a bi-color (blennys) due to brain coral nipping... well the bi-color is nipping the same coral!!!:angry: so I got the fish trap back in...

Also, I am removing all my blue legged hermit crabs. Tired of them taking food from coral and general annoyances. I'll probably leave just 1. Placing an order with reefcleaners to replace them with snails.

I have 5 Koralia's in my tank (1 nano, 2 "1's", and 2 "2's). I pulled the two out that were on right side of tank (one 1 and one 2) for cleaning. I noticed the flow (all coming from the left) was actually really nice. (all my sps are on the left)...

So I'm going to leave them out for a week or so and see what happens. I love the openness in the tank without them...

Coral Beauty still has not eaten anything I have put in tank (that I noticed) but it is fat and I see it constantly hunting and pecking the rock-work...

Also, I have purchased a monti-cap I think. I know it's a plate frag. I have a nice spot for it, but for now, it is on the frag shelf getting raised closer to lights every couple days.

    pics eventually folks. sorry.

Sounds like its going good. As long as your CB is fat I guess she is getting food somewhere. How long have you had her?

I've had her just over a month I guess... late March.

What I really like about her is that the yellow area is really big. Her side fins (I should know what those are called ::)) are yellow (all the others I've seen the fins were blue). Easily the prettiest CB i've ever seen.

So far, she's left my crocea alone.

I say she, but I have no idea. Might be he.

My camera is broke and my wife's is a PITA (IMO) to use... maybe I'll try again with her camera tonight for ya'll.

I call all angels she. It wouldn't be an angel if it was a guy. ;)
    But she does sound pretty.

CB's are dominantly female, unless you have a pair or group. In most cases there will be only 1 male. But yes, they can change their sex as needed. So, if you have a female and get another "female" it will turn male.

My coral beauty sounds to be pretty similar to yours. It's pectoral fin(side swimmer fin) is yellow with the edge being a dark purple. I wish it had a little more orange on it's side. But it's still beautiful :)

Nice tank BTW. I liked your wrasse, Sorry to hear it died. :(

    Thanks!

    :grin3::sweethear

Did you ever happen to see my CuC documentation thread? It really shows how the tank got started and is pic heavy. I think it's a neat thread.

    Neat info. Like clowns then?

I loved my wrasse. I thought it was exceptional. On the plus side, I have an over abundance of pods now ;D
