    Sure DrCool ;)

I keep an assortment of SPS, LPS, and softies. (like a 10/15/9 split or similar).

This makes it exceedingly difficult and nigh on impossible to keep everything happy with flow. Sometimes I want to rip my hair out. I rearrange every few months (the koralias i mean).

I have 1 nano that is always running across back bottom
    2 K1
    2 K2

At the moment, as maybe you can see in last FTS, I am not running one of the K2s. And the K1 on the right is pointed as to keep soft flow over there... My hammer/frogspawn and my bubble are what is tricky.

The K2 on the left's main purpose is surface agitation. Skimmer overflow does not cut it.

As for filtration - my main thing is light bio loadish and easy on the feeding
I've got ~70-90lbs LR (lost track with the redos).

I run an octopus BH100F HOB skimmer. Cup fills about once every 2 weeks

I also run an HOB cheap filter over on the right. Like what you made a refuge out of. I just use this really to clear up a dead spot of flow and I run carbon in it.

That's it. Been running 0's for ~2yrs and I do about 1-2 WC a year. 10-20% when I do it.

    Also, I'm using CC substrate...

But the most winning part of my filtration is my rocking CuC from reefcleaners!

Do you still have your dendro? Mine has a total of 4 heads now. It's been closed up again during the day after being open for months. I finally decided it's a phase - it's done that many times before and will eventually open back up in the daytime.

Sounds good and tank looks great i'm planning to run my 55 with a sump and fuge so that would give me a couple more gallons and right now for movement i have 2 K3s and a rio 2100 that i'm going to put one of those roating deflectors all that should give me an awsome flow plus my return pump i should be getting 3000GPH:eek: a 54X turnover wow just realised thats alot

Looks good, how do your corals look with the new light combo? Do they stand out more?
