    New Power Heads

I got the last of my new power heads in and rearranged the ones I already had.

Here's what I ended up with after playing with it until all the corals I have had a random flow based on their movement.

I also trimmed some teeth on my surface skimmer box so I could raise it higher than the inlet pipe was allowing. Used a dremel.

    No good pics of that.

Tank looks really good. Just make sure you keep that Athelia in check or it will dominate your tank. Keep it on a rock at the top of a stack so you don't give it something to attach too. But then again some people like them, just wanted to warn you.

Keep up the good work on the pics.

Neat little dude. Likes to sit on top of the power heads too. I call him Blenny.

I call my albino african clawed frog "Binny the albino" so the name is a little bit fun.

I have three of these. The same three that came with the tank when it was transferred to my house. I feed them every couple of weeks raw fish or shrimp or even fish food pellets. Here are pics of two of them.

Being my first tank - it's beginners luck.

When you get started you don't really have your own opinions. And since opinions vary you have to pick which ones to go with and then kind of stick to that theme. When I was deciding on my Clean up Crew I took John's advise and it's worked wonderfully. (I probably have around 150 snails in my 55g and about 15 hermits).

I also think the way I went about letting the Clean up Crew do its thing without my interference helped a lot. But I have no point of comparison to back this claim up. My own feeling.

It's all nicely documented here (my favorite thread of mine ;D)

    New Coral

My new Plate. I've wanted this one and the bubble since I started. Very happy to have them.

The Bubble came on an unanticipated shape of cut rock. I had to find somewhere other than planned for it. Got to be adaptable!

This is my Torch. I think I'm going to adjust the flow for it. It's in the top 1/3 of tank under T5.
