So sorry to hear about all of your troubles :(....perhaps taking a break may not be a bad idea. I know one can get to that point where you're just done. I would try and keep the basics because you may get the bug sooner than you think.

Is it possible to at least give the anemone and ricordea to a LFS?

    Thanks y'all. :)

I don't want to list out all the things I've tried over past, what has it been, year. But I personally believe I would have been better off if I had just stuck with the crushed coral. I don't think the substrate was the only factor, but I think it was a contributor. Tank always did better with the CC sub.

    Thanks

Yeah, the 10 day with no light (and 88 degrees) put a dent in it. I had already previously been down to such short light hour cycles my bubble coral quit opening and started receding. This crap needs much less light than my LPS apparently
I tried three different sets of bulbs, even going back to a combo I used several years ago with no problems. No luck there either.

Thanks. I'll keep things I can leverage in the future. My next tank, if ever, will use LED lights so I'm not keeping my T5 fixture, for example. But I'll hold onto my ATO and auto doser stuff.

The nems, are not big pretty delicate nems. They are rock nems that don't get any wider than a quarter (there are pics somewhere in this thread). A couple came from the rocks off the TX coast and another came off Fl coast (disclaimer: or so I am told). In fact, one of them I got before the tank even cycled - it lived through it, I've had it over five years. It is invincible. But it's on nasty rock that nobody will want. Same with the Ric. I'll send them to you if you want, I'm willing - but do you want these spores? Dip isn't going to work on it... Rock and a hard place ya know
