Dead fish and some messed up ones too

My Bi-Color Blenny jumped. Found him a few minutes ago. Wasn't completely stiff yet so I thought I'd toss him back in and see if I was lucky...

But the female clown immediately grabbed him and took him to the bottom where he was covered in hermit crabs almost instantly.

I don't think it can survive that! ::)

Oh well. I'll pull it back out when I get home from work this evening. Should be OK in there for a few hours.

In other news, my Royal Gramma looks like crap. Fins are all torn up and my firefish is showing signs of torn up fins. Firefish is getting skinny too. Belly might be starting to sink in.

It's either fin rot, an aggressive female ocellaris clown, or an aggressive 6-line wrasse.

I suspect the clown the most as she's a PITA and is always up in all the fishes business. I'm really thinking again of getting rid of the clowns. They're just too aggressive, steal food from everything, etc. Anybody want to trade something for a pair of clowns? :p

I started noticing the messed up fins after I put in the 6-line is why it's on the suspect list.

I don't really care if the RG makes it... that's a pretty boring fish. If it goes, I might get a coral beuty in its place...

But I'm still giving it some garlic soaked food to help it. I'm trying to help it... I just won't be upset if it doesn't make it is all.

I cut the Blenny up. Fed him to my anemones and my torch and the fishies. Some how this makes me feel better.

Royal Gramma still looking bad/hiding. I think I'll replace him with a mini angel if he dies (flame or CB).

I have won on eBay a Purple Tipped Hammer and 2 Blasto's! I will post pics. Should be arriving tomorrow! Hurray!

Actually seeing some algae  since the Blenny died. Guess I should replace him soon. It was a Bi-Color - I guess he ate just enough algae to keep my tank without it!

I still find it amusing that you get satisfaction from cutting up your blenny. You psycho :D

Good luck with the fishies. We've actually been seeing some fin tearing too. Maybe it's just this time of year? Coming from our Ocellaris Clowns. Our CB finally womaned up and put mama clown in her place. It was a "who's your mama now?" moment. ::)

Now all the biting is over and all that. And, it seems that the other fish have been paying so much attention to each other, that they've forgotten about annoying and bullying our Molly Miller Blenny. Sounds good to me.

    Hurray picture updates!

She's like a cat... always in the middle of what I'm doing. I do not have a cat.

This is my blastomussa. First time with one of these. So I got two! A red one and a purple one.

And here are a few shots of my new purple tip hammer. I think it is awesome looking. It came on a twisted narrow piece of rock and was an incredible PITA to find a spot for (while keeping it near my torch). I pray I managed to not muck with the fleshy areas.

    (which one ya'll like best?)

And the rest are updates of coral I already had.

Updated pic of my colt... it sucked all up when I was adding the new coral

Updated pic of one of my mushrooms

Armor of God is growing like crazy. It is now orange and green polyps.
