OK, so I have seen numerous threads on Nitrate, Nitrite, Amonia, ect removal.

I have tried many methods and I think I just found the best method for those of us that have HOB setups.

It is the R apids Mini Canister Filter and runs at 80gph.
It has two chambers for different media.

I just installed in with Nitrate Sponge and Phosguard.

It has a good set up and the output tube is nice as it airates the top of the water for good circulation.

    Cant beat the price either.

So far, I think this is the way to go for that added media that we all look to add.

    \Cheers.

    Read the fine print

For fresh or saltwater aquariums up to 20 gals. Measures 3-1/2" x 5-11/16" x 7" high

I would have to buy at least 5 of those. The "perfect" filter would have to be a refug. IMO Luna

    No NO no
This is just for media / bio. It is an addition. The 80 gph is perfect as it is slower through the media and or bio media.

Keep in mind this is for us HOB folks that are seeking a good media filter source.

Not everyone can do the Fuge / Sump setups.

Ass an addition to my HOB Skimmer and HOB Filter, this is a perfect addition.

And also, it isnt as un sightly as the Via Aqua and other HOB media filters as it doesnt have the submersed powerhear and tubing.

Much cleaner. Lets see if my Nitrates drop now..

Here is a review with Photos.
I fit mine on the back along with a CPR Bak Pak II, and Aquaclear 110.
Very clean to look at in the tank and seemes to have the perfect flow.

    Cant beeat the price either.
