So several questions about pest anemone removal.

So as you may have guessed I have some pest anemones, two of them with tentacles 1-1.5 inches longs. Have had the largest two for several months now and seeing as they weren't multiplying I decided to just not mess with them. But, I have seen about 3 little ones pop up in the last week or so, so I feel now would be the time to address the "problem". A couple of them are really close to my LTA and I've seen it brush tentacles with the small pests, and I don't think it likes it.

Anyway, I was thinking that using the syringe and lemon juice method would be best (anyone attesting or detesting that particular method, please comment.)

I was wondering if the anemones will pollute my tank, and for that matter if the small amounts of lemon juice will (I only have a 28 gallon). I'm also hesitant of putting anything in the tank meant to kill the pests when I have an LTA.

    Any advice is appreciated :)

I have tried lemon juice. It wont harm your tank, but it didnt work for me. Tried boiling water, super glue, peppermint shrimp also, with no dice.
Joe's Juice is your best bet. It worked great for me. Its completely safe also. You can even make your own. All it is is extremely thickly mixed kalkwasser.
