    bristle worms are increasing like crazy and it killed my gbta.... mine is a 22g fowlr... I dont wana add dotty coz it can harm my clowns... iv tried several trap methods, but none worked.. any method?

    You're feeding too much.

    An Arrow Crab will munch the big ones like candy. The crab grows fast and can become obnoxious though.

    You can also take some raw fish or scallops or similar, put it in panty hose/knee highs. The worms will go to eat it and get tangled in the nylon.

    AN arrow crab works great. They do grow like crazy and once they are done with the worms you better rehome him if you have any corals.

    The problem with bristle worm traps is that the big ones can just poke their head in to get get the bait, then back out. I've found that long tweezers, intestinal fortitude and screaming ew!ew!ew! As you pull them out is the most effective.

    If you want to use the panty hose method, try the nylon footies they have in a box in the women's shoe department. Just the right size and free.
