Good to know, I think to many people get pets to either show off and no idea how to properly care for them. I see way to many fat pets and people see this as cute or that there taking care of their animal, I see it almost as animal abuse.

I like the hot car warning. We have very strict laws about that here. If you leave an animal unattended in a car your going to jail, its that simple. Doesn't matter if it has water, the windows are cracked, etc. One law I fully agree with

My personal opinion - if your dog is a barker (not a dog that barks at burglars, but at everything, including squirrels, bugs, birds, grass, clouds, and people through the fence in their own frickin yard) then the dog should be taken from you and you should be fined for harassing your neighbors.

I really wish to get a mammal you would have to get a license (which in itself would require training) and have to prove within a reasonable amount of time the animal has been trained to not be a pain in the a$$ to your neighbors. And I wish that neutering was compulsory (unless you're a licensed breeder, of course). I suppose I mean for the animal, but I'd be happy with either :p

I swear everyone out there seems to think they can train a dog themselves. I bet less than 1% of them actually can... or will.

Just another example of how so many mammal owners are irresponsible and have no business owning them.

Kinda surprised that they don't already have something like that here in Oregon. Or, the nation for that matter. Pet people are definitely one of a kind.

I can agree with certain points of that argument. A license would make sense because you would be committed to your animals and would view them as toys like some people do. Too bad that won't happen.....Good point though.:)
