    I said you may, providing you are able to find optics like those found in the Solaris. I would suggest posing in various forums for help as someone may have already performed this mod. Making the move to a wider optic will loose peak PAR however increase light spread. It's kind of a give and take relationship.

    If you do a Google search you will see their patent. It was just a sketch of an aquarium with a light on it and it said it was LED with a fan and dimmable. No technical information.

    But in 2004, that was something that no one else was thinking. If they were thinking about it then, they were literally having a pipe dream!
