PFO is out of business, hope no one wants a warranty replacement....

    They have actually been shut down for about a month now. They were hit with a law suit by another company that has the patent for using led lights over marine aquariums. How the hell that patent was approved I do not know but they have it. Plus the solaris units suffered from a very high failure rate with the led strips and power centers and a lot of them got sent back for warranty. It is though that PFO was already in trouble when they were hit with the law suit and the law suit either pushed them over the edge, they closed up shop to fight the law suit and will be back, or used the law suit as a simple way of exiting the scene. The jury is still out.

    Prices were indeed out of this world. These days, people can barely afford the basics. I do OK and there is NO way I would spend that kind of money. Noooooo no no no no.

    Ya gotta admit though....it would be nice to have such a beast.

    Orbital Technologies will handle warranty issues if they win their case. If they lose their case, one would assume PFO would handle warranties again.
