Will lowish pressure in a CO2 tank keep the solenoid switch from turning the CO2 supply on? My Ca reactor was set up with a Milwaukee regulator with solenoid control. The controller would occasionally trip it on but the co2 would turn on. I thought I had a bad regulator so I replaced it with a reef fanatic regulator. SAME THING. It has a light that turns on when energized, so I know the controller is appropriately turning it on. Some times the CO2 starts, sometimes not. If I unplug and replug the regulator, the solenoid audibly trips and the CO2 starts to flow. Is it cause the tank's a little low?

    Try refilling it first.

I think mine does that too if the pressure is low and I need a refill. I have a RF regulator on mine. That RF is a great unit.

Are you using the solenoid that came with the RF regulator or the Milwaukee one?

I bet he is using the RF completely, and has the mke one sitting idle.

The solenoids on the mke ones are known to fail.
