kalwassers use CO2 to raise the pH. reactors use CO2 to lower the pH. what do you think, do they work well together or are they fighting each other?

the question is vague for a reason. feel free to express your opinoin

The reactors use co2 to lower the ph in a controlled, out of tank, environment to break down reactor media in introduce minerals into the reef system. They're two different ways of adding calcium, i don't really see how they would fight or work with each other....

I think they work well together or at least mine does. :cheesy: What CO2 that is not used up in the Ca reactor gets dumped in the tank and the Kalk helps keep the PH up that the CO2 tries to take down.
    Clear as mud, right :-/
