I know there is not much you can do to alter you pH without using buffers and making it unstable, but it is nice to now where you stand and also when acclimating new livestock. Problem is the ATI and other color kits seem to be inaccurate and so hard to read.

I want a digital readout but am not sure what to get. I know they have the probes that connect to controllers for constant 24/7 readouts and graphs for those high tech junkies but that is a little to much for me at this point. Want something I can dip in the water, get a reading, clean with RODI or tap and then put away much like my refractometer. What do you guys suggest?

I use this one...had it 2 years and still works great...no more testing, and nice red display.

Comments: I love this Monitor. I used to have to guess at the color of the liquid test kits. No more. Just look over and there it is. Easy to calibrate and seems very accurate. Beware though. Mine did not come with the calibration fluid as shown. Apparantly Reef Fanatic is not including it anymore. this store stepped up and checked some of the others in the warehouse, and sent me some at their expense. Seems the instructions still say it is included, but the new pic on the reef fanatic site does not show it anymore. Buy this if you cant afford a controller. You will like it.
