I just got a Apex and the PH probe and I just calibrated it and it was a at 8.29 before I calibrated and now it at 8.19 after so it was off a little. does any one have a ph probe? how low does you ph get at night and how high during the day?

That's going depend on the individual tank. Would you say yo have a lot of coral?

PH drops at night because of the change in oxygen levels.

Mine doesn't swing very much but I have heard of .2 - .3 without any issues, some even more.

Mine usually drops 0.1 at night, but I run my fuge on a reverse photocycle so my chaeto is helping it stay higher.

Here's mine from last night, fluctuations aren't bad. Just your probe clean and calibrate every 1-1.5 months
