ph question

    today when i tested my ph i noticed that it is a little low prolly around 7.8-8 and i have heard that it should be around 8.2- 8.4 is this correct and what should i do to raise it

    Need to know your Mag, Alk/Dkh and Cal levels first. And at what time of day did you test your ph at? Luna

    i tested it at about 3:20

    and i dont have the other test yet so tommorow i will go get those test

    do u kno if there is a big test thing with all these those test in it or will i have to buy each one seperate

    3:20pm Im assuming right? Most/some test kits will have the Cal and Alk/Dkh, but not the Mag. The mag will be separate. Luna

    yeh ur correct and here is a pic of the test i did and i will go get those test tommorow

    i just ordered there complete kit online... was looking for an easier way to decipher the colors... oh well...

    Hi, it is a little difficult reading the API (I have that also) but it looks in between colors so 8.1. You are good. There are two "big test things", "Saltwater Master Test kit" and "Reef Master Test Kit" both by API. You need to get both to cover everything.
