    As the title says i had one of my 2 power-heads (HK 1400) running in reverse. It was a quick fix to resolve it (unplug and re-plug), but has anyone else had this issue?

    Is it a sign that it's on its way out?

    HK meaning Hydor Koralia I assume. The Evolution's (550, 750, 1050, and 1400) all have issues running backwards. Contact Hydor's Customer Service, and they will send you a replacement part free of charge to fix this issue.

    One of mine has done it several times. it has always resolved with unplugging and stating it again.
