    Hi Guys,

I just tested my water and my pinpoint Ph probe says that my Ph is currently 7.92. I recalibrated it yesterday and it started saying that my Ph was very low. The only chemical test I have for Ph is API. It is terribly difficult to interpret, so I was wondering what your eyes tell you. I have three pictures and am hoping that they will help. I have my own idea but would like your input as to what it says. Thanks!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

Well, it's very hard to do this through pics, but IME with that test kit, that's about a 8.3. It's not enough red/magenta to be 8.4, but not as brown as 8.2.

Thanks guys! I was thinking that it looked like 8.2 in person. I agree that it can look like anything from a certain angle. That is why I prefer the probe. Unless anyone else chimes in, I think I will start looking for a replacement probe. Thanks!!!!
