    Testing

    dKH: 11.4
    Ca: 390
    Temp: 82

I added another teaspoonful of Reef Builder to bring the dKH to 12. I'll hold it there for now. I tested the Ca before I did that. It was 10 above yesterday's number. I added enough RAC to bring it up to about 420 and it is dripping in now.

All the fish look good, but the corals look a bit tired. I didn't pay much attention this morning. It will be lights off here in about an hour or so.

I could never stand McGyver. Getting out of all those situations with a toothbrush and a wire nut. Although it was not as bad as Knight Rider. I am not sure who was worse, Kit or David Hasselhoff. Ewww. Oh, I forgot about the A-team. Another stinker from the '80s. And the King of them all.....The Dukes of Hazzard. My friends parents used to watch that. I would avoid his house on that night.

McGyver could make your corals thrive and secure your plastic food containers from racoons all with a banana and a paperclip, but if your going to be like that, fine, he wont come help. He would have brought the General Lee with him too.

Don't know!!!! Seemed to me they had only a few left (maybe four or five). Something like that. But one dude just didn't want his anymore. I would have sold it too. Sooooooo many cool vehicles could be purchased for the price that thing sold for.

I just got done with the drip and the results are as follows

    dKH: 11.4
    Ca: 400
    Temp: 82
    PO4: Present (about 0.25)

    Dosed with Phosphat-E (one capful)

The teapoonful of RB I added did not do anything except maintain what I did yesterday. The amount of RAC I added should have increased the calcium to about 415.

Tomorrow night, I am going to double the amount of RAC into solution and drip it in. I am aiming for 425 to 430 by tomorrow night. I will also add two teaspoonsful of RB to raise the dKH to a bit above 12. By Thursday, the Ca should be up to par and the Mg levels will be addressed. I am going to do daily adjustments of dKH as well. My corals have not been flourishing as they should. Keeping an eye on PO4 will help as well. Phosphat-E is my friend.

More testing.....trying to bring that Ca up.

    Temp: 78
    pH: 8.2
    dKH: 12
    Ca: 390
    Mg: 1290
    PO4: Present (~0.1)
    NO3: 25

I am going to add one capful of phosphat-E and zero out the phosphates tonight then test every other day.

Ca is being stubborn. I doubled the concentration of my mix and it is dripping in now. My goal is 415 to 420 tonight.

dKH is fine. I am not going to mess with it until tomorrow morning. I will add two teaspoonsful of the RB. I want to maintain 12 or a little over.
