    Thanks....all but one of the nerites lived. Looks as if I may have lost about 30% of my Vibex. We'll see.

    And official Happy First Birthday to my tank!!!!! One year ago today.......

    What a birthday present for my tank!!!! Only thing is.....the bulbs are still in transit. But that is OK. I am going to clean up the reflectors and polish them a bit. Going to have fun tonight......!!!!

    LOL!!! I CAN'T!!! Bulbs haven't arrived yet.....Although....He did include a bulb in the box. And I did pick up two Superactinics as backups.....Maybe I'll just clean it up a bit and put in those three. Lord knows it will be better than the six PCs I have going now.....

    Just tested the ballasts and they are both functional. Right now, I have two Superactinics working. Going to install the splash shield (it came cracked---but not too badly). The shipment was insured, so I can get another. So far so good......

    I found some refurbished Nova Extreme Pro 6 bulb for a descent price (under 250.00)....I am looking into it tonight and waiting for all my check's to clear.....
    It aint Tek bt its affordable!!! lol

    OK, here are two photos. I have two Superactinics in working order. The colors are much more purple than the PCs I just got rid of. The coral colors (which do not leap out in these pics) are awesome. They glow. For now, I am running open top. Later, I will mod my canopy to accept the fixture.
