Dude. I have no idea. I tried to look it up late last night (early this morning), but I had to go back to bed. I am going to try to get a better pic tonight.

What is with putting it in upside down? What is that supposed to do?

OK, I have a casualty from the change over. The pulsating xenia frag did not make it. Too bad. But, the good news is, everything else did. I will be getting some more this weekend if my ammonia is down. I will settle for less than 0.25. Last check was a few days ago at 0.35.

I have been dosing with Prime daily.

Any luck on ID'ing the monster? The all seeing eye that hides? (It looked like eye lashes around an eye to me :p

Can't see too well by the pic, but for something that large to have the ability to retreat almost instantly, it sounds like a duster/worm. The pic looks like a duster, but again, it's kinda hard to tell.

Does it always eminate and retreat from that same spot? If so, I say duster.

Yes it does. Same spot. I am going to try to get a better pic tonight if I wake up in the wee hours like a usually do. Maybe I can get a better look at it's morphology.

;)I actually did that! Looked all around. Looked for little pores and places a small tube worm might hide in. I found a possiblility, but it was a little difficult to tell. :p

Oh, and I had to look up the word gonioporas.
