    Phelps done it. 8 gold medals. All I can say is amazing and he must be a fish. LOL

    yeah, he's good. made these olympics interesting.
    think he'll still be competing in the next one? will he be as good?

    lol.. it is great to have such of wonderfull atlete in or country.
    I have been following M P for some time now, the only thing about him,
    is that he looked desappointed on the first couple of days, and I can understand that! but time will pass and there will be greater obstacles in life more than just records.

    The only part of the Olympics that I have caught was the butterfly he won by 1/100th of a second, giving him his seventh GM. I figured that was about as good as it gets, so I changed the channel to watch something with socially redeeming value, like South Park.

    So that's it. I have watched one race in one event. I haven't really been into the Olympics since Nadia Comaneci did her work in 1976. And of course the '72 (Olga Korbet and Mark Spitz) Olympics just plain rocked. Mary Lou Retton's smile really annoyed me in 1984. I don't care how good she was. That smile just.........UGH. I never recovered.
