Can I use two of these one for GFO and one for carbon? Or is there a better recommendation for a carbon reactor. As I understand it alot of people run GFO in this unit. I like their small footprint. I intend to feed them from a 4-way manifold off of an external pump.

bje - yes IMO you can use Carbon in a Phosphate reactor
but you do need to be able to control the flow independently
as Carbon tends to grind up quicker than GFO s IME and needs a more gentle flow through the reactor

thanks steve. i figured i could use it as a 'generic' media reactor and run whatever. having two units will allow for the independent flow control as you mentioned. thanks again for confirming.
