I recently installed a reactor in my 90 gallon. 2 days later I woke up to find my Red Link star falling apart. I had the star fish for 4 months prior and i dont see how it was just bad luck that it died at the same time has anyione ever had issues like this?

    Also,

I have a powder b lue tang that has been in my tank for over 3 weeks and it seems to not beable to kick the little bit of ick that it has. All other fish are fine and it seems to be slowly going away.

I know Powder Blues areick prone its just for 3 weeks to have this little bit is getting me a bit stressed

    Thanks,

    Beamerhack

    bumped for other opinions

Im off the opinion the starfishes demise is coincedental rather than as a direct result of the use of the Phosphare reactor?

Tangs with ich - I have had tangs in previous set ups that seemed to have minor cases throughout their stay with me, a few spots here and there and then clear, only to come back again a while later - My last Regal tang was a fish like that, always fit, healthy and active with a foracoius appetite, but every so often a few spots would appear

I've been running a phosphate reactor for months now and have 3 healthy stars in my tank (brittle star and 2 serpent stars). Like Steve, I think it might just be concidence. Sorry about the star.
