    Huh, I didnt know that. All the examples I saw had people who had em plumbed in. Do all models hook up that way?

    Nearly all have a garden hose adapter on them as standard equipment. If not, you can buy a push-fit garden hose adapter to put on the inlet tube.

    Then, you use one of these to convert your faucet to a garden hose conncetion. I think it's that one, but I'm not sure if that's the right threading. You can ask at a Lowes or Home Depot for an adapter to hook up a garden hose to a faucet and they'll point you to the right one. All you do is take out the aerator from the end of the faucet (it screws out), and screw that in.

    Mine is plumbed in with a garden hose connection, and one of these, since I have to constantly switch it out to water the flowers and it's easier to remove that than a screw fitting that deep under the sink.

    sweet. thanks for the info! Ill look into gettin one of these soon! The only thing that concerns me is the wastewater. I really have no use for it...

    You can order from BulkReefSupply.com and they give you several different hookups with their kits. You can "t" off directly from the cold water line under your sink without cutting into the line. That's one of the adapters they give you with their systems. That way you can leave it hooked up all the time (much more convenient than the garden hose adapter).

    I am thinking about using my waste water from my RO/DI (when it is mine :D) for our pool.... especially when it is face melting hot outside!

    Ok, just got me a stage 4 rodi from bulkreef with a duel TDS meter and flush kit. Now Im done spending money on equip for a while...lol. My wallet is starting to hate me!
