I found this stuff called phosphate + silicate magnet, its sort of a fine brown gravel like substance that im suposed to put loosley in filter....the bottle says the ingredients and last on the list is the almighty copper that im terrified of.... Does anyone have experience with this product? Will a trace amount of copper turn my tank into an invert haulocaust???

Copper is a natural part of NSW.....it's only when it's in fish treating concentrations that it's an issue.

This product in the Midwest is outrageously priced when compared to all of the other Iron Oxide products out there. They all adsorb phosphates and silicates too.
